These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through Edelvintage.

2. Scope and acceptance

These Terms apply to orders placed through the Edelvintage online store. By submitting an order, the customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms before concluding the contract.

3. Products and product information

We aim to describe and display products as accurately as possible. Because many pieces are handmade or contain natural materials, minor variations in colour, shape, dimensions, surface or appearance may occur and do not constitute a defect where inherent to the product or material. Screen settings may also affect colour display.

4. Prices and payment

The prices displayed at the time of ordering apply, subject to obvious pricing or technical errors. Shipping charges and, where applicable, duties, taxes or import charges are shown or described separately. Payment is due using the methods offered at checkout.

5. Formation of the contract

Product displays are an invitation to place an order. The customer submits a binding order by completing checkout and clicking the final order button. An automated confirmation confirms receipt of the order. Edelvintage may reject or cancel an order before dispatch in case of a material pricing error, suspected fraud, payment failure, product unavailability or another legitimate reason. Any amount already collected for a cancelled order will be refunded.

6. Availability

Orders are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will inform the customer and refund any amount paid for the unavailable item.

7. Shipping and delivery

Shipping is governed by the Shipping Policy. Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Delays caused by carriers, customs, incorrect address information, force majeure or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by the Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Defects and warranty

Customers should inspect goods promptly after receipt and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is defective, damaged or materially different from what was ordered. Mandatory statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Normal wear and tear, improper use, accidental damage, failure to follow care instructions and changes caused by unsuitable chemical exposure or storage are not defects attributable to Edelvintage.

10. Jewellery care

Product-specific care information and material descriptions form part of the product information. Water resistance does not mean that every product is immune to all forms of chemical exposure, abrasion, impact or long-term wear.

11. Intellectual property

Website content, branding, photographs, graphics, texts and other protected materials may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission unless permitted by law.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by mandatory law, Edelvintage is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by improper use of products, or events outside its reasonable control. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

13. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when an order is placed applies to that order.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply at the customer’s place of residence. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
